My friend Kris is the one who told me about the Legend of Wizard Clip (there were two "z"s in "Wizard" when he showed me the tale in a book), which took place just a few miles from where I live!

Convenient timing; the Over The Mountain Studio Tour I'm participating in this weekend includes a stop in Middleway, where you can see the iconic triangular plaques on the houses! Drop by Stop 5 at my friend Anne Bowers' basketmaking studio (technically Kearneysville) and you'll get a sweet little taste of the town. :)

The tour is free and self-guided, and includes my home studio in Shepherdstown! If you're interested in dropping by my or any of the studios, this weekend is the time to do it! The map of all 10 stops is right here; you can go to as many or as few as you want, Saturday and Sunday, between 10 and 5. Hope to meet one or two of you soon!
