GWS Hair of the Dog #175

Here's one that didn't make it into the compendiums, because it was too meta and didn't fit into the storyline!

17 years ago is too long ago for me to remember whose comics were featured in this crossover strip, but luckily the information is available under the original strip! (One of the rare instances where the blog and the comic above it managed to stay intact!) Both crossover comics are no longer online, but Matt Rawson was an old classmate of mine in college, and Evan was a local creator I probably met through SPX.

The general idea was that one character from each person's webcomic was snagged via wormhole (or whatever that thing is), and spent a little time in the next person's comic.

If you weren't around during this little golden era of webcomics, it was kind of a special time when we were all just fuckin around and playing in each other's worlds, and you kinda needed to be there to experience it! (Case in point, since I can no longer link to my fellow cartoonists' comics.)

There's no "chaser" strip for this one, since it was never colored! I hope you enjoy this little time capsule from a period when even Twitter didn't exist...
