GWS Hair of the Dog #3
Posted November 22, 2022 at 10:00 pm

My friend Baley and I go to one in-person yoga class every week (our Shepherdstown studio closed last year, RIP), and we drive about 20 minutes out in Martinsburg for it. We pass Variety Books (and more!) every time, but the windows have always been blocked out, and the sign doesn't light up, and the entrance is in the back alley, so I don't know if it's still open.

Maybe one day we'll get up the nerve (and the $0.50 for a membership card) (I lost mine two decades ago) to sneak around back before yoga, and peep into this historic business, if its doors are still swinging.

(If you're local and you do it before we do, obviously, TELL US ABOUT IT and spare us the terrifying trip!)

Original black-and-white strip is here, chaser is here!
