If you were expecting a buddy-comedy strip about McPedro and Zach today, you were right, that's what should be happening! But this must have been the first of the "Sunday comics" I posted when I decided to make GWS my full-time gig in 2007, and started updating a new strip every weekday.

I don't remember how long these Sunday strips lasted, but at some point I realized it wasn't feasible to keep them going, so I went back to my original plan of making a strip every weekday. It was fun while it lasted!

Anyway, here's the original post, and here's the chaser! Since I was making the Sunday comics in color, they're pretty much the same, but I'd eventually made the porn store's background yellow, so that changed. In retrospect the blue looked better, and I wish I'd learned sooner that you don't have to make everything the exact same color all the time - settings change color according to time of day, season, mood of the strip, mood of the cartoonist, etc. The grass doesn't always need to be green, and it can get boring if it ALWAYS is!
