Happy, happy, happy...

Well, my birthday isn't for a few more days (the 23rd), but today marked my one-year anniversary of being self-employed!

A year ago today (Sunday), I spent the day putting away my work clothes, putting together my office/room, and nervously looking over my jobs for the next month, hoping they'd pay the bills (they didn't, in fact - they all cancelled on me and I can't even remember how I managed to pay for April!).
I wasn't certain I'd survive a year. And yet, here I am, broke and happy as ever.

With any luck, I'll be able to celebrate another self-employed year next March 19, and will be able to continue doing free comics on my own time. Wish me luck!

Oh, and speaking of broke (ha!), the eBay auction for the two illustrations of Jamie and Hazel are still up for grabs, at a cheap price as of right now.
Last time I checked, the top bid was barely over $220, and the auction goes until 3:00ish Monday (huge apologies, I meant for it to end in the early afternoon tomorrow, but wasn't aware that they're on Pacific time!).
For two pieces that's pretty cheap, so get on it fast if you want 'em! Good luck, bidders!
