First of all, I'm going to start putting the number of the current GWS strip in the blog entries so it'll be easier to match the strips with the dates when people are going through the blog archives.
Now that I've explained that portion of the title...
SKYPE!! Does anybody else have it?
I know two of you do, because I signed up for my own Skype account for the sole purpose of calling two of my international friends without paying for it (because I'm cheap).
For those of you who don't know about SKYPE, this is a magnificent service, sounds MUCH better than a cell phone, and makes it FREE for me to call people overseas!
I have no idea how it works, but I hope it never stops.
If you're been Skyping for some time now, I have a question for you: are you being SKYPED by random people who have names such as ABSOMORBAVIC SLAMNIFF and other unpronounceable conglomerations of letters??
Or is this JUST me?? Because for the past several months, I have been instant messaged and called by people who obviously DO NOT KNOW ME.
Are these the same people who call the phone numbers they find in bathroom stalls?
Because that's essentially what they're doing, except instead of knowing that I'm "a good time," all they know is that I'm in West Virginia and I do comics.
I recently discovered that I can block these random people from Skyping me, and I've changed my settings, but... I just had to ask other Skypers, because this is such a strange phenomenon.
It's like running a finger down the phone book and randomly calling people.
Like, "Hi, you have a nice name. Would you like to talk about it?"
I don't have anything else to say about this. I just needed to vent, and ask if anyone else has encountered the same thing.
Thank you for listening.
And yes, the sign below Clarice says, "Clerks do not have sex with (most) customers."

My old pal R. Stevens and I used to do a podcast called Coffee and Cider! It was mostly about being work-obsessed idiots and human beings who like beverages and have cats.
